Our system estimates a total cleaning time based on the number of bedrooms, bathrooms and additional tasks you select. We charge for the SweepStar's time, i.e. the number of hours she works. We do not charge per task as everyone's home is different, but our estimates are 99% correct!
We don't encourage the adjustment of these hours too much as these are based on a number of factors and ensures our SweepStars have enough time to clean your home and complete any additional tasks you may have. Keep in mind that this is just an estimate and could change based on your home and specific cleaning needs (e.g. if your home is bigger or smaller, the level of cleaning required or for example the amount of ironing required).
Our service does not send out teams of cleaners, instead one SweepStar will be assigned to your booking. If we estimate that a clean will take in excess of 9.5 hours or if you're in need of a second set of hands we'll advise you to create a second booking - you can decide if you would like a second booking on that same day or perhaps you would like someone to visit your property for 2 consecutive days to get all the work done!
While the SweepSouth booking platform calculates the estimated amount of time needed to clean your place, please note that you are able to manually change the number of cleaning hours to suit your time-frames and pocket. Note that payments are based on the actual hours it took to do the cleaning and cleaning time should only be adjusted with your consent.
Reducing the Estimated Hours
- Please ensure you provide your SweepStar with detailed instructions and a list of priorities of what needs to be completed during the reduced time.
- We will be unable to offer any form of compensation where estimated hours are reduced and you feel that the SweepStar did not complete the work you required.
