Why was I charged a cancellation fee?
We totally get it – life can get busy, and plans might need to change. If you've had to cancel your booking after 12 p.m. (midday) the afternoon before your scheduled service, a late cancellation fee may apply.
We want to make sure you're in the loop: cancellations via telephone, email, or social media are a no-go. To ensure full control over your bookings, head to your profile on the site or use our user-friendly app to make any cancellations.
Here's the scoop: when a booking is confirmed, SweepStars gear up and set aside their time and resources for your service. They count on these day-to-day bookings, and a missed booking means they miss out on their earnings for the day. The late cancellation fee helps compensate the SweepStar for their lost work and any transport costs they've incurred. Our policy around this is strict to ensure fairness for our dedicated service providers, and unfortunately, we're unable to reverse these cancellation fees.
