About SureStart Booking Cover
At SweepSouth, we're all about making your experience extra special and worry-free. That's why we're thrilled to introduce Booking Cover in partnership with SureStart Online Financial Services (FSP no. 47233) and Chubb Insurance South Africa Limited. It's like a protective shield for your bookings.
Here's the deal: Booking Cover is an amazing add-on product that you can choose when booking a SweepStar through the SweepSouth platform. It's a fantastic way to ensure peace of mind, and it's the only cover we offer in connection with our platform. Please note that this service is independently managed by SureStart, who aren't affiliated with SweepSouth in any way.
When you opt for Booking Cover, we'll send you a separate email ahead of your booking, packed with all the details about your booking cover. You'll have all the information you need right at your fingertips.
If, for any reason, things don't go as planned during your booking, the SureStart team is available to lend a helping hand. You can reach out to them by phone at +27(0) 87 550 9614 or via email at insure@sweepsouth.com.
If you decide not to opt into Booking Cover, we totally understand. However, please keep in mind that without it, you won't be able to raise a claim for any damages, breakages, or losses.
Now, let's talk about the nitty-gritty of Booking Cover:
-
For a one-time booking, it's just R19. And for recurring bookings, you'll enjoy extra savings at R12 per booking.
-
Booking Cover provides protection against loss, damage, or theft to your Household Contents, specifically at the Property, Building, or Home during the Period of Cover. It's there to make things right in case something goes amiss, all due to the actions of a SweepStar.
-
The maximum limit of coverage is R5,000 per booking. That's quite the safety net!
To put it simply, if you could turn your home upside down, most items that would fall out of your house would be covered, up to R5,000. Just a heads-up: there's an 'excess' determined as the higher value between 5% of the claimed amount or a fixed R100. This will be taken off from your final payment."
Now, here's a final reminder: SweepSouth can't be held liable if you don't provide all necessary information to the 3rd party or if a claim is repudiated.
