Reserved/Pending Charges Explained
That pending charge you've noticed on your account is all about your upcoming, SweepSouth bookings.
Let's break it down: when you create a new booking, SweepSouth temporarily holds the total booking cost on your account. The good news is that this temporary hold is not an actual debit – think of it as setting aside funds for your upcoming adventure. You'll only be charged for the actual hours worked once your booking is complete. During this time, those reserved funds won't be available for spending, and they might temporarily affect your balance.
For those of you with recurring bookings, five days before your scheduled booking, we place a temporary hold on your account. and if, for any reason, this first attempt isn't successful, don't worry. We've got your back! Two days before your booking, we'll give it another shot to ensure your experience is absolutely seamless.
Life has its surprises, so If you decide to cancel your booking after we've placed that temporary hold – we're on it. We'll swiftly release the hold in our system. Just keep in mind that your bank might take up to 10 working days to clear the hold. During this time, it won't appear in your pending or uncleared transactions. We understand that banks have their own turnaround times, but we're by your side every step of the way, ensuring your SweepSouth journey is smooth and hassle-free!
