Your Outdoor Cleaning Task Guide

As an outdoor worker, your job is to keep outdoor spaces clean and well-maintained. Below is a detailed checklist of what you are expected to do during an outdoor clean.

General Outdoor Cleaning

✅ Sweep and hose down patios, balconies, and verandas
✅ Wipe down outdoor furniture (chairs, tables, benches, loungers)
✅ Remove cobwebs from ceilings, corners, and eaves
✅ Wipe down light fixtures, railings, and gates
✅ Dust and clean window sills and frames (outside only)

Garden & Yard Maintenance

✅ Rake up leaves and remove garden debris
✅ Sweep and tidy up pathways, driveways, and walkways
✅ Water plants and small garden beds (if needed)
✅ Remove weeds from paved areas and between bricks
✅ Mow the lawn
✅ Trim hedges and small tree branches
✅ Clean and organise garden tools and storage areas
✅ Empty and clean outdoor bins

Pool & Braai Area Cleaning

✅ Sweep and clean the poolside area
✅ Wipe down pool chairs and loungers
✅ Clean and scrub the braai/grill area (including degreasing)
✅ Remove ash and food debris from braai areas
✅ Light pool cleaning:

• Skim leaves and dirt from the pool surface
• Brush pool walls to remove dirt or algae
• Empty the skimmer baskets

Garage & Carport Cleaning

✅ Sweep and remove dust and cobwebs
✅ Wipe down shelves, cabinets, and storage areas
✅ Organise tools and equipment (tidy up, no heavy lifting)
✅ Clean the outside of the garage door

Gutter & Roofline Cleaning

✅ Remove leaves and dirt from gutters
✅ Flush gutters with water (if accessible)
✅ Remove moss and dirt from roof edges

Car Washing (Standard Task)

✅ Wash the car (exterior only)
✅ Rinse and dry properly to prevent watermarks
✅ Clean the tyres and rims
✅ Wipe down windows and mirrors for a streak-free finish

Dog Walking (Add-on Task)

✅ Get dog walking equipment from customer (leash, waste bags)
✅ Walk customer's dog for the the amount of time selected
✅ Return dog to customers home and settle them down

Additional Tasks (If Requested by Customer)

🔹 Pressure wash driveways, patios, and walls
🔹 Deep clean outdoor tiles and paving
