Your Express Cleaning Task Guide

The Express Cleaning service is a shorter, focused cleaning session. Since this booking is only 3 hours long, you will not be expected to complete a full indoor clean. Instead, the customer will choose which specific tasks they want you to focus on.

How Express Cleaning Works

✅ The customer will tell you which areas or tasks are their top priority.
✅ You will focus only on those requested tasks within the 3-hour limit.
✅ If the home is very small (e.g. a micro apartment), you may be able to complete a full indoor clean.

Tasks You May Be Asked to Do

Since an Express Clean includes any indoor cleaning tasks, you could be asked to do some of the following:

Living Room & Common Areas

🔹 Dusting furniture and surfaces
🔹 Mopping and/or vacuuming floors
🔹 Wiping skirtings (baseboards)
🔹 Dusting electronics, picture frames, and decorative items
🔹 Wiping light switches and fixtures

Kitchen

🔹 Wiping down surfaces, sinks, and appliances
🔹 Washing dishes
🔹 Wiping the outside of cupboards and the fridge
🔹 Wiping down walls (where needed)
🔹 Emptying bins and cleaning the bin area
🔹 Mopping floors

Bedrooms

🔹 Dusting furniture and surfaces
🔹 Making the bed
🔹 Vacuuming and/or mopping floors
🔹 Wiping skirtings (baseboards)
🔹 Folding or hanging up clothes

Bathrooms

🔹 Cleaning the shower, bath, and sinks
🔹 Scrubbing and disinfecting the toilet
🔹 Wiping down counters and taps
🔹 Wiping mirrors and walls (where needed)
🔹 Wiping the outside of cupboards and cabinets
🔹 Folding or hanging clean towels
🔹 Emptying bins and cleaning the bin area
🔹 Mopping floors

Important Notes

🚨 Always ask the customer which tasks they want you to focus on first.
🚨 Work as efficiently as possible, but don’t rush—quality is still important.
🚨 If the home is very small and you can complete a full clean in 3 hours, do so.
🚨 If you run out of time, politely let the customer know what was completed and what remains. Ask them if they would like you to extend the booking hours.
