Mom’s Helper is a service that supports a busy parent who is at home with the kids and juggling more than they can do on their own. A Mom’s Helper Sweepstar, you will go to a home to assist parents with the children and with chores around the house. This is not a full nanny service, so a parent or representative should be at home during the booking.

What’s Included?
Mom’s Helper is an hourly service. You simply book the number of hours you need, and our helper will assist with any tasks you choose during that time. While we recommend the following tasks for your booking, there are many other ways a Mom’s Helper can be of service.

🎨 Playtime & Entertainment: Engaging children in fun activities, games, outdoor play, or educational tasks.
Household Tasks
🧸 Organising: Assisting with organizing toys, clothes, or other household items.
👚 Kids Laundry: Washing children's clothes and belongings.
🧽 Light Cleaning: Washing dishes, sweeping, dusting, and general tidying up.

If your child has any allergies, please let your Mom's Helper know. This ensures they won’t be given anything they’re allergic to and that no allergenic foods are eaten nearby, since Sweepstars often bring their own lunch.

Q: Is this a nanny / babysitting service?
No, this is a supervised child care / helper service. Parents must remain at home for the duration of the time that the SweepStar is with the baby or child.
Q: Is the SweepStar experienced with children?
Yes, SweepStars in this service have at least 1 year of nanny experience and have been reference-checked by us.
Q: Does the SweepStar have First Aid training?
Some may have, but this is not a requirement to be part of this service. Workers' profiles will show if they have CPR training.
Q: How many children can be supervised at one time?
You can have up to 3 children in a booking.
Q: My regular nanny has called in sick, can I make a booking in the morning for the same day?
Yes! From the time of booking, your SweepStar will usually be able to arrive in around 2 hours.
