Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your subscription to the MyHome Hub service (the “Subscription”) and form a legally binding agreement between you (“the Customer”, “you”) and Sweepsouth (Pty) Ltd (“Sweepsouth”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By subscribing to this package, you agree to these Terms.
1. Subscription Overview
The Subscription is available at R99 per month and provides the Customer access to a suite of management tools and services via the Sweepsouth platform. These services include:
- Automated payment processing for your employee.
- Access to optional insurance cover.
- Digital record-keeping of hours worked and payments made.
- Performance tracking
2. Employment Relationship
Sweepsouth does not employ the worker (cleaner, nanny, carer etc). As the Customer, you are the direct employer of the worker and are solely responsible for:
- Compliance with South African labour laws, including but not limited to the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), the Unemployment Insurance Act, and any other applicable regulations.
- Registration with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF).
- Ensuring fair working conditions, legal wages, and employment rights for your worker.
Sweepsouth is not liable for any claims or disputes arising from the employment relationship between you and your worker.
3. Payment and Billing
The subscription costs R99 per month and is billed in advance. Your billing cycle starts on the day your subscription is activated, and payment will be automatically processed on that same date each month.
Payments are securely processed through the Sweepsouth platform using your saved credit card.
If a payment fails, your subscription services may be suspended or cancelled.
You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting your subscription agent at myhomehub@sweepsouth.com. Once cancelled, the subscription will end immediately and any upcoming bookings will be cancelled.
4. Booking Cover
Booking Cover is an optional extra that can be added to your bookings at a cost of R13 per booking. These costs are not included in the monthly subscription fee and are billed as part of the booking costs, on top of the price per day that you selected to pay your worker. 5. Data Privacy
Your personal information and that of your worker will be processed in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Sweepsouth will take reasonable steps to protect the confidentiality and security of personal information.
By subscribing, you consent to the collection and processing of necessary personal data for service delivery.
6. Changes to the Subscription or Terms
Sweepsouth reserves the right to modify or discontinue features of the Subscription at any time, with reasonable notice.
We may amend these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website and will take effect immediately upon publication.
7. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Sweepsouth provides administrative and technological support but is not responsible for legal or employment compliance.
Sweepsouth shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the Subscription or your employment relationship.
