What are self-managed (Private) bookings?
Hi Star 👋
Customers can choose to “self-manage” their bookings with their Sweepstar. This is also called a private booking.
How does it work?
- The customer sets the hourly/daily rate.
- You get paid 100% of what the customer pays.
- Bookings still show in your Sweepsouth worker app so you can manage your schedule.
- You will still get job requests from other customers if you have availability.
Important things to know
- Hourly/Daily Rate: The customer decides how much to pay. Sweepsouth makes sure the pay is never below the minimum hourly rate set by Sweepsouth. We do not increase the pay for you.
- Price increases: Customers are encouraged to increase pay each year to match cost of living, but this is not enforced. Sweepsouth may remind them, but the choice is the customer’s.
- No replacement: If you decline a booking from the customer, Sweepsouth will not send another Sweepstar. The customer must make a new one-off booking if they still want help.
Good to Remember
- Your pay may stay the same if your customer does not increase it. If you want a raise, you must ask the customer directly.
- Being reliable is very important, because Sweepsouth cannot replace you in these bookings.
