All SweepStars are independent contractors which means that they have full control over their schedules - where and when they work. This means that from time to time they may become unavailable. The convenience of the SweepSouth platform is that when your SweepStar requests time off, falls ill or has a sudden emergency then we'll automatically assign you another SweepStar to ensure that you are provided with a cleaning on the day.
If your SweepStar has taken some time off and is unavailable for a booking(s), you'll receive an email to alert you to this. But what happens now?
Closer to the time of your booking our system will automatically assign another highly-rated SweepStar to your booking(s) and pop you an email with more details about the new SweepStar. If you have a recurring booking and your selected SweepStar has taken off extended time, our system will make sure to assign the same SweepStar to each of the bookings where your SweepStar is not available.
We know that some of our clients prefer to manage who comes to their home so we've made it simple for you to control and manage your account and bookings. This means that if your SweepStar has taken time off, you'll be able to pop onto our site or app to select a replacement SweepStar yourself. We've included the steps below:
