How to ADD a new Payment Card
Making updates to your cards? No worries, we're here to guide you through it all.
To add a new card, you'll breeze through a 3D-secure step for added security. You can easily manage this within the Accounts Section on the app or while creating a new booking on both the website and the app.
Just a heads up, for security reasons, adding a new card through the website's Accounts Section isn't an option right now.
Let's dive into the steps:
- Open your app (make sure you're signed in) and tap the menu (those three horizontal lines up top).
- Select 'Payment', where you'll spot any cards linked to your account.
- Important tip: Make sure the correct/active card is added first before deleting any older ones.
- Click on the '+' (up top on the right) to add your new card details or scan your card.
- Fill in the required information!
- For multiple locations using different cards, you can link a location (address) to your card at this stage (the card is charged against bookings at that address).
- Hit 'Save' to verify the card – and you're good to go!
- Remove the older/incorrect/expired card by clicking 'Remove'
Keep in mind: We'll do a temporary R1.00 authorisation on your card to verify it, but it's not a charge. Your bank might let you know about this authorisation.
