Here are some steps we are taking to help you:
- Donations for Paused Bookings
SweepSouth gives your clients the opportunity to contribute a fee to you over the lockdown period.
This will work exactly the same as a late cancellation fee payout. If your client makes a weekly contribution, the amount will be paid into your account every Wednesday over the lockdown period. If your client makes a once-off contribution, the amount will be paid into your account on the Wednesday after the cancellation date.
So far, clients have contributed R100 000 towards their SweepStars.
- SweepStar Fundraiser
SweepSouth has created a partnership with investors to create a pool of funds to help SweepStars with financial assistance during the lockdown, and specifically SweepStars who tested positive for COVID-19. Details about this fund will be announced soon.
- Client Donations
SweepSouth has reached out to your clients and asked them for donations to contribute towards the SweepStar Fundraiser. Here, clients can contribute as much as they would like and the money will be used to benefit you.
