The provisions whereby additional protections and public liability insurance is offered in terms of the Satisfaction Guarantee will terminate on 19 July 2020. This will be phased out:
- Any existing one-time bookings scheduled: you are still covered by this insurance for 30 days, 19 August 2020
- Any existing recurring bookings scheduled: you are still covered by this insurance for 60 days, 18 September 2020.
For any booking scheduled after the termination dates as stipulated above, transient protection in terms of the Satisfaction Guarantee will apply, subject to the condition that opt-in insurance cover has been selected and paid for prior to the booking date. The Company reserves the right in its sole discretion to terminate this transient protection at any time without prior notice to the User.

To ensure that SweepStars can still bring extra love and passion to your home without the fear of breaking your everyday favourite decorations, glassware, crockery, clothing and other movable items, we’re introducing an all-risk insurance product.
- One-time booking = R19
- Recurring booking = R9.40/booking (45% saving)
You'll be covered for up to R5000 (with 10% excess) for defective workmanship, accidental damage or loss as well as All Risk cover for all your non-household items.
Not only will this cover the occasional mishaps that happen while your SweepStar is giving you a clean, happy home but it will also give you comfort against any concerns you might have around any rare cases of theft.

Please note: if insurance has not be opted into, unfortunately you will not be able to raise a claim against any damages, breakages or losses. Insurance is onlty available for clients booking services for addresses in South Africa.
