Yes! On completion of the service, we'll request you to provide us with feedback on your SweepStar, if you've added a positive rating (3 - 5 stars) you will be given the option to pay your SweepStar a tip. You are not required to tip your SweepStar but we encourage customers who can, to tip their SweepStars.
We introduced tipping so that we could allow clients who can afford to pay their SweepStars more, to do so. Tips are paid in full to SweepStars, with SweepSouth taking no margin and paying the the bank processing fee of R3 on average per tip, which enables the SweepStar to receive the full tip. We also have clients who prefer to tip in cash.
Please note that you will be able to tip your SweepStar at any stage after your booking!
Have you found your perfect SweepStar, do you have a recurring booking, do you want to be able to tip your SweepStar after every booking but want to avoid the admin each time? You can now add a recurring tip to your booking :).
After your next booking, remember to rate your SweepStar, if you rate your SweepStar a 3, 4 or 5-stars, you'll be presented with the option to add a tip, from there we'll also ask if you'd like to set a recurring tip for the bookings. Don't worry, we don't expect you to do this so you can just as easily skip this option. You can follow these simple steps to set this up: How can I add a recurring tip
Then, each week, we'll make sure that this set tip amount is added to your invoice and paid to your SweepStar (remember, SweepStars receive 100% of their tips).
